Ottawa Valley Triumph Club’s Mississippi River Run
First club drive of the year...Are you ready?

NEW DATE May 22nd 2005

Come drive with us along the Mississippi river and visit some beautiful waterfalls in Pakenham, Blakely, Almonte and Appleton.

We’ll be leaving from the parking lot of the Terry Fox plaza [ meeting on the parking lot by CD Warehouse on Terry Fox Drive] on May 22nd, 11 am. Please bring along some good cheer, lots of time and prepare yourself for a walk along the banks of the river. Well be stopping by the Iron works Restaurant in Almonte for a meal or coffee and, hopefully, the weather will be nice enough to enjoy their out-door patio, which is overlooking the waterfalls in Almonte.
After the gathering at the restaurant, you can either drive home from there or follow us home over Appleton to visit the old ruins of the mill by the river.

We'll have to watch the weather forecast for this drive because it really wouldn't be any fun if it's too cold or rainy. In this case we'd have to postpone the drive, maybe to May 1st
