Darts Tournament

Congratulations to this year's winners from the OVTC, Barry and Oliver Wilkinson, who defeated the OVTC team of Paul Hawkins and Stephen Burtt in the finals.

Go Kart Night

The club karting night was at Top Karting in Gatineau, on March 31. Congratulation to winners Martin Burtt in Race 1, and to Michel Pilon in Race 2. With his second place to Martin in the first race, Michel took the overall title for the evening.

Clean the Capital

Many thanks to Phil, Mike S., Tony, and Chuck for pitching in to help out at the clean the capital event this year.

Canadian War Museum Restoration Shop - 18 and 25 June

Very enjoyable and informative visits to the restoration shop of the Canadian War Museum. Many thanks to Michael Miller from the museum staff for taking the time to show us around and answer our many questions.

All British Car Day

Great day at All British Car Day again this year. Thanks to all the volunteers who made the day a success. Your might also want to check out the very nice video produced by Rick Cooper.

Capital and Dominion Radiator

Great visit to Capital and Dominion Radiator for a tour of their facilities on 28 July. Many thanks to Scott MacMillan for the tour, for providing a great description of their services, and for answering our many questions.

Maxville Highland Games

Dave and Elaine MacNaughtan and Mike and Marjorie Graham represented the OVTC at the games this year. Great turnout of cars with a record 40 British cars attending. Great weather, good venue, and fantastic surroundings and entertainment.

British Invasion - Hazeldean Mall

North Augusta Labour Day Festival

Three members of the OVTC attended this show, Paul Greer (TR6), Bob Thomas (TR8), and Mike Graham (TR3). Great weather and lots of nice cars.

​Ottawa Austin Healey Club Fall Tour and BBQ

Many thanks to the Healey club for the invitation to join their run and BBQ on 27 September to celebrate their 40th Anniversary. Fabulous day and great company. Jim Ashby led the tour over to Suite Miss Scarlett Guest House in Lanark. Dean and Janet and Mike and Marjorie attended from the OVTC. As a bonus, we passed a number of old Fords out for a run as well.

​Mini Car Show at Peter D Clarke Long-Term Care Home

Thanks to Roly for coordinating the show with his daughter Lise, who was our contact at the home. The residents seemed to very much enjoy the opportunity to come and see our cars, and the club members in attendance enjoyed talking to an appreciative audience. A very worthwhile club activity.
