Cruise Nights, One-Time Events, Club Contacts for 2023

These lists of Local Cruise Nights, One-Time Events, and Contacts for Local Car Clubs are compiled and shared by the Highway 43 Car Club. New lists will be uploaded as they become available. Many thanks to Wendy Hall and Micheline Lane​ for the work they do pulling these lists together.

OVTC Drives Every Sunday 

Starting Sunday, 11 May, Mike S. will be leading drives around Eastern Ontario to explore sites and back roads. See flyer for more information. Drives start at 11:00 and leave from the Independent Grocer in Stittsville. Everyone is welcome.

  • 25 May: Hudson British Car Show -  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, St Thomas Park, Main Street, Hudson, QC. See website for more information.
  • 27 May: Regular OVTC Meeting - Meetings are held at the Manordale Community Centre (68 Knoxdale Road, Ottawa, ON K2G 1A4), which is located at the corner of Knoxdale and Carola in the west end of Ottawa. Meeting starts at 7:30 pm.​

  • 22 July: Regular OVTC Meeting - Meetings are held at the Manordale Community Centre (68 Knoxdale Road, Ottawa, ON K2G 1A4), which is located at the corner of Knoxdale and Carola in the west end of Ottawa. Meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
  • 27 July: Merrickville Classic Car Show - Merrickville Fairgrounds, 446 Main Street West, Merrickville, ON, 8:00 am to 3.00 pm. See website for more information.

AUGUST

  • 1 August: Glengarry Highland Games - The British antique car display will be held on Friday at the Games. Those displaying their cars in the show receive free admission to the Games on Friday. See website for more information.
  • 10 August: Boot N' Bonnet British Car Day - Held in Ken Garrett Memorial Park, which is located just south of Inverary at 4010 Perth Road (Division Street if coming from Kingston or CR 10 if coming from the north). Entry fee is $15 per vehicle which includes a dash plaque and chances at prizes. Show runs from 10 am to 3 pm with prizes being awarded shortly after 3 pm. Registration form.
  • 26 August: Regular OVTC Meeting - Meetings are held at the Manordale Community Centre (68 Knoxdale Road, Ottawa, ON K2G 1A4), which is located at the corner of Knoxdale and Carola in the west end of Ottawa. Meeting starts at 7:30 pm.

  • TBD: MG Club ​British Car Clubs Trivia Challenge - 2.00-5.00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, 3500 Fallowfield Road (near the level crossing). Light refreshments will be available, and the bar will be open.
