Year of Manufacture Licence Plates
Ontario's year of manufacture (YOM) licence plate program allows owners of classic cars (1974 or older) to legally use a vintage licence plate that matches their car's year of manufacture. For example, if you have a 1971 TR6, you can plate it with a 1971 Ontario plate. The caveats are that the number sequence on the old plate must be available, and the condition of the plate must be very good. There are vendors who will help you find appropriate plates. They will source old plates, check the availability of their sequences, and restore the plates for use on your Triumph. Check them out if you are interested in year of manufacture licence plates.
